Recording New Album!

Happy new year! 2023 is upon us all, and it's finally time I started recording that new album I mentioned last May.

It's been almost 4.5 years since I released All Those Teeth, and I've been messing around with some new things since then. I've been recording quite a bit over the past few weeks, and I can see this new project's final shape beginning to take form now. I was originally calling this project Cartographer, but that evolved into The Optimist instead since the music no longer feels like a physical journey but rather an emotional one.

I have 11 tracks in various demo stages with 1 more planned. They're all instrumental this time, and I'm pretty happy with how they're turning out. At this point, I have a little over 45 minutes of music recorded which means that the full album will probably be 60-70 minutes-ish. I'll start posting more updates about this as the album gets closer to being done. Keep an eye out here and on my Youtube Channel for future updates, release dates, track titles, and all that jazz.
