RTA Episode 29

Post date: 12-May-2012 21:18:19

IS IN PRODUCTION AS I WRITE THIS VERY SENTENCE! I know what you're thinking: it's been 19 months so it's about fuckin' time you asshole. And you'd be right! I formally apologize. But rest assured that the newest episode of RTA will come into existence by the end of this weekend and will soon after be released as my 100th video. So...what will my 99th video be, you ask? Probably a trailer for RTA. I have to assume that many people have forgotten what was happening in the story and I'd like everyone to have the chance to know what's coming down ye olde pipeline. After Ep. 29 hits, I'm going to TRY AS HARD AS I CAN to resume the old schedule of one episode every Monday until the season is over. However, as you probably already know, there will likely be delays, but nothing like the delays of the past. At the very slowest, I can guarantee you all a new episode at least once per month until Season 3 is complete. And, if I ever do have to delay production, I'll keep the Alan Wake's Stupid Nightmare coming as well to fill in the gaps since everyone seems like that series pretty good. Anyway, thank you all for supporting the oldest and longest-running Morrowind machinima series on the planet!

If you're wondering what I've rearranged in my life that created enough spare time for me to even approach RTA again, I'll tell ya. First, I graduated graduate school last week, which is a huge weight off my shoulders. I haven't received my diploma yet (and I never even saw my undergrad diploma), but I've fulfilled all the requirements so school is officially done until I decide to go back for that shiny Ph.D. (if I ever do). The second thing is a double-edged sword, and one that I'm hoping to rectify next week: I became effectively unemployed. I've written about this before, but in case you missed those posts, it basically means that while I do have a job, I have no work until August, which gives me tons of free time. The problem was that teaching college always comes with some crazy, unpredictable schedule and crazy, unpredictable pay. On Monday, however, I have a job interview at a warehouse run by the university I just graduated from. That's right, I'm going to be a fucking warehouse worker. The upshot is that I'll make more money (how weird is that) and have a much more stable schedule, making time management way easier. So, now that I've squared away my schoolin' and my money makin', things are much simpler in my neck of the woods. Thus, I can resume work on RTA for you guys along with my other, easier projects! Yessssssss!

That said, I'm going to stop typing on this bitch, open up MS Word, and start crankin' out that sweet, sweet RTA dialog. Shouldn't be too hard since I have the entire rest of the season planned out already (which is a first). Peace!
