While I've already announced For Love of Brother, development for that game is currently on pause while I make a much smaller one called Abby's Song. Check out these preliminary details while I prepare for the announcement trailer: Development Started: October, 23 2015 Title: Abby's Song Genre: 2D Horror Adventure Platforms: PC/Mac/Linux Controls: Full Xbox 360 Controller Support, Full Mouse and Keyboard Support System Requirements: Very Low FPS: 60 Targeted Retro/Pixel Style: No! Most graphics will be hand-drawn. Soundtrack: Punk/Alt Rock! Unskippable Cutscenes: No! Unskippable Splash Screens: No! Save/Load Game: No (the game will be short enough not to need this) Pause Anytime: Yes! Quit Directly From Pause Menu: Yes! Puzzles: Yes! Distribution: Steam (hopefully), GOG (hopefully), Direct Sale (right here) Release Date: TBA 2016 I don't want to reveal any details about the story just yet, but rest assured that it will be a chilling tale! Right now, I have completed the game world, most items in the game, three songs for the soundtrack, and a few puzzles. Coding has been moving fast, so I expect to have the game world completely programmed within the next few weeks depending on my schedule. Then, it will be art/music/polish time! I have no idea how long that will take, and if any artists want to lend their talents then please email me some examples of your art. I'm a fairly terrible artist, so if the game has any hope for a nice visual style someone else will have to handle those visuals. I can't pay you anything up front, but I'd be happy to negotiate payment based on a percentage of sales. That's all for now. Keep an eye out for updates as I go! Peace! |
